Being greeted by Evenstar, who has the most stunning smile! We had such a blast when we were in London. There were great memories made and fabulous food we had! I didn’t want to see the day end. She is funny, sharp, adventurous, easy to talk to and a great listener. Meeting and hanging out with her and Simon I think was the best part of my trip to London.
I am going to make it to Dublin AND we will paint the town red!!

I have talked to Simon for a while. I never thought I would actually meet him in person. He is such an amazing person! I think is funnier, quick witted, sincere, and most easy to talk to. A great listener and such a sincere person I have ever met. I am glad I can call him my friend. I don’t know if I can ever pay back his generosity he had shown me.
Because at last, I had someone with whom to gang up on Simon! :o)
Julie is utterly lovely, and fantastic fun to hang out with. There were dungeons and sushi and double-decker buses and fountains and statues and pubs, and by the end of the day my cheeks hurt from laughing :o) I really hope she does visit Dublin someday so we can paint the town red together!
I’m not gonna tell stories about Julie, in the hope she won’t tell stories about me, especially not the story about what I did to the statues outside Buckingham Palace. :P
Julie and I met at the Chicago 43 Things Meet at the Elephant and Castle as organized by Segsy. She arrived at the same time as Surly, but I don’t know if they arrived together or not. (Surly also had a non-43 guy in tow, but we didn’t try to convert him… honest!)
Julie was at the opposite end of the table from me so we didn’t have much of a chance to chat. She had the best smile though, which kept catching my eye.
How I met Julie??? At the Chicago meet up, of course!

Stories about herbgoddess…. there are too many to recount here. I think I would crash 43T servers if I did!! But she is one of my bestest friends in my life!!
I find her spitfire outlook to life at her age is energizing to see. I like her honesty and sense of self along with her dash of humor
Nicolasc has a fighting crusade spirit for causes near to her heart, getting others to join her in her cause. She has set high aspirations for herself. Like me, she loves to celebrate for any reason. Her comments about her son remind me of when my son was that age, which makes me smile knowing I wasn’t the only one going through it. Lastly, she likes to encourage me on occasion to tease another 43T member!! ;)
